Kernel Corn also has an upgrade that can increase its rate of fire - Super Spin, but this effect is only temporary after vanquishing an enemy, which still gives the Foot Soldier the upper hand with its primary weapon.

I’m a really big fan of Shogun-Guard for Kernel Corn. It can be really effective when fighting Foot Soldiers, especially when you use your Butter Beacon against them to increase your damage. Shogun-Guard does increase Kernel Corn’s DPS and Shogun-Guard’s shield can sandbag an entire ZPG hit if timed correctly, at the cost of your entire shield.
