Hi @dabjhn
You wouldn't be the first person to want to go back to something they know after trying out a new game. It's happened to me many times before.
The only thing you can do is keep playing, learning the game play and new maps. Just remember that the game hasn't been out long and everyone is in a similar position. Maybe give it a little more time and see how you get on?

Unlike some of the people here, I'm not going back due to map design differences or things like that. Gw1 offers 3 main things that keep me splitting my time with gw2 and it 50/50.
There is no rose/lock ons
The main modes are always full and 3/4ths of the team doesn't insta quit because side is switching
CC is so much less of a factor there. I can play the game, truly play it without being stunned for 4-5 seconds from multiple chars and dying before I get to react.
Right now those are the only reasons Im going back to play it some of the time. Mind you I LOVE GW2. I've pumped so many hours into already I'm kinda ashamed but you just can't deny there is very clear frustrating nonfun gameplay in it. And it isn't only rose. When you go back to the first and all the games are full its amazing, its fun. No one leaves, nothing feels cheesy, its so balanced you never know which team will win.
- Anonymous10 years agoFunny that, I have just ordered tonight gw1 on ps4 as my original xb360 was unplayable as no servers to play, hopeing this not be the issue in PS4. Going to have the best of both worlds thou will continue in gw2, nice thing thou I have a choice now, but will agree gw1 just flows like a silk river. I've been trying to find advantage point in gw2 and alot are unreachable, last night found a advantage point that a zombie was using, so finished him off and jumbed up and found I was out of bounds and had to drop down, how can that happen, it was in turf take over(my favourite) and space map.

Could he have been inside his spawn area? I don't know the specific spot that you're talking about, but I'm pretty sure that opposing players can shoot at you from inside their own spawn areas, but that you'll get an out-of-bounds message if you cross that line.
