Freezing at "Stocking the Sticker Shop"
I see this topic is in the technical forum but it seems like a bug. Any time I try to access the sticker shop it just hangs at "stocking the sticker shop". The game keeps running, and you can move the mouse, but it's completely unresponsive. It's like the game would crash, but it just can't. Earlier in the day I could actually ESC out of that screen but not anymore, even after a clean install of my OS and Origin.
Anyway here is some info for troubleshooting:
I tried this on 3 PCs in our house, it only works on one, and the only difference with that PC is that it is running a Raedon 280x and the other systems have a Geforce 750ti and a Geforce 950. All three systems are using SSDs with AMD A8 6600ks as the processors and 8 gigs of ram.
On the PC that it works, I did take that keyboard and mouse and try it on the other PCs, but to no avail.
Things I've tried that did not work:
Repairing the game
Uninstalling and reinstalling
Formatting the entire hard drive and only installing Windows 10, Origin and Nvidia drivers
Playing in windowed/fullscreen
Playing with all settings on low
Playing with all settings on high
Rebinding the keys
Changing the resolution
Vsync on and off
Changing sound type
Plugging in an XBox 360 wired controller to my PC and trying the interaction that way
Running the game as an admin
Running the game in Windows 7 and Windows 8 compatibility
There is no other freezing or lag or hiccups in the game. I can play multiplayer and I can interact with anything else except the sticker shop.
Ok so what we have found so far is when people have this issue it is due to not having a quad core cpu. We are investigating the issue further, but in the meantime please ensure you have a PC with min spec or above
