If there is a GW3 or another potential sequel, I would like to see:
Making new game modes while ensuring that they are both lucrative enough and that players can find other people easier.
-I see people, especially newbies, pick TT as it gives "more coins" than the other game modes or not finding enough people to quickly complete a game of surburbination or vanquish confirm. I am hoping that with a new game, we can get more consistent as well as fair matchmaking. In terms of new mode, I would love to see a mode where zombies and plants actually work together (being on the same team) to take down a much larger threat (Gnomes, Hybrids of zombie and plants, etc).
Bringing back maps and delivering players new ones, while keeping in mind size and purpose.
-Most people want to see older maps return, an issue that I perceive is with the addition of other character classes and players who may be unfamiliar with GW1's maps (they started with GW2). I worry that the map might receive an extra extension like some of the maps in GW2, which could hinder players on certain areas that were not designed for such extensions. Keep maps the way they were, allow new players to experience the map as if you were playing GW1. I want my golf course to remain only a 4 par stroke.
Offline Play
-Both GW1 and GW2 require you to be online to play, it makes kind of sense as it is multiplayer-focused, but with the heavy requests for a single player campaign and the hub world that was added in GW2, the "need" for being online has lost its purpose. It would be cool to just jump into the game without having to worry about signing in, especially if someone has internet troubles; maybe have an item in the backyard can allow the player to jump online to offline (allowing more freedom with player choice).
Character Choice and Team Role
-Everyone wants new classes and variants, but I would rather see more characters designed for more than just support or assault. I.e. not seeing stunning, invincibility, heavy damage, or movement abilities, but moreover blockades, knockback, or visual pollution. (Love to see a gardener zombie who could use a leaf blower which does no damage to push back a lane of plants). More melee characters would be fun.
Sticker Shop/Leveling
-Either specialize stickers to have people obtain [or possibly find on online maps] what they actually want or make it more viable (less grinding) to grab coins during playtime. This would help to eliminate complaints about not finding specific items to complete the book or obtain characters/skill, also please a buy multiple sticker option as buying them one at a time adds to the grind. The same can be applied to leveling, but switch xp to challenges as it is not makes it much easier, but helps newer players to learn about their character.
Server maintenance and improved bug/issue resolution.
-With a new game, I do expect better server experiences for all game modes with better frame performance. GW2 has had many technical issues, and it is understandable as it houses 24 or more players per match, yet when playing a mystery portal event for a hour or more, lag spikes should not appear exceptionally frequently. Also when an issue occurs with a character, map, or code, it would be great rather than on the day of scheduled maintenance for servers, to isolate the problem (remove the map from the lineup or person cannot pick character) and then quickly have it resolved. Though that option is more difficult, if issues can resolved a lot quicker than waiting a week or more.
GW3, or whatever this potential game be called, will be an interesting process as it will allow us to see what direction the devs will take with the series. As this journey with GW2 begins to come to a quiet conclusion, this new road opens up leading off into a horizon of unfamiliar, yet exciting change.

I posted to that tweet just now. I have my own massive thread for what I want for GW3: https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/Thoughts-for-GW3/m-p/6041201#M24044
That's pretty much what I want today as well.

I miss the good old map of the first GW... Maybe they could add in the regular map rotation a classic only character with classic abilities in the classic GW map (Garden Warfare 1). This way, they won't have to change the maps to much.
For the rest, I agree with almost everything you mentionned in your thread
sorry for my english

I love Gnome bomb when goes overtime and the remaining base is end to end of the map and we keep back and forth bringing the bomb to enemy lines. This inspired me to create a specific game mode that mimics this intense battle:
Destroy castle/base battle:
1. Both teams have a base and they spawn from the base. Plants base is a beautiful garden while zombie base is Spooky Cemetery.
2. There is a bomb in the middle of the map. Both team has to race to grab the bomb first and carry it to the enemy base and set up the bomb on the target (Pretty flower on plants side, scary zombos tombstone on the zombie side with 5 seconds timer) and hold it (30-45 seconds timer).
3. If they able to destroy it, they win the game.
4. If no team can destroy it, we go to overtime which is similar to gnome bomb. The one can touch it, immediately win.
What do you guys think about this game mode?
