Future updates to pvz gw2

The official answer is no. However, with so many things seemly half done, one has to wonder if there will be some form of update in the future.

Can`t see it Bro, I am guessing, as with PvZ 3 is just round the corner ?

Besides an extremely slow trickle of time locked customizations and abilities via Rux and the town hall chests, no.  Justin Wiebe told us explicitly that there are no future updates.  It is a challenge just to get game breaking problems fixed in a timely manner at this point.  Resources are clearly allocated elsewhere (i.e. GW3 or whatever it is they are developing).

To balance the slight negativity I expressed above, it is really nice to see that some minor tweaks are still occurring here and there, like the recent, very welcome, changes to the sticker shop.

Now we just need a permanent fix to GW1 on PS4 and maybe just maybe they could do the same for GW1 before they go. (Not that it matters that much, GW2 is a half dozen times more grindy than GW1 ever was.)

I don't think it's going to happen.  I pestered EA_Roger mercilessly on this issue, and he worked hard on our behalf, but I think the problem is too thorny for them to be able and/or willing to devote the resources to fix it. A reddit user put the problem quite well:

"Its so random its hard to pinpoint when it is or isn't working. I wonder if Popcap themselves even know what the problem is."

Frontline Fighters was the last major DLC for GW2 although as pointed out here we still get some smaller patches and the mystery portal events are ongoing.

One can infer based on the trickle of info we have, and they've been quite hush-hush about this, that most of their GW team is working on the new shooter and not with the first 2 games as much.
