Game appears uninstalled even though I am able to find the files

Summarize your bug I started up my game, waited a bit and then all of a sudden my pc crashed. After that I restarted my pc and on steam and origin, it said that my game was not installed, even though I was able to find through my files. Oh and by the way whenever I try to launch it from the origin client it sends me to steam and brings up the installation screen
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure, but you can try starting your game multiple times until that happens.
