Minecraft on the XBOX 360 allows you to transfer your saves up to the XBOX One. Considering the large amount of data in an average Minecraft save, there is no valid reason why EA/Popcap cannot transfer the relatively small amount of data to the XBOX One. In fact, as the data is stored on the EA servers, half the job is already done. Also, the XBOX ONE game only costs you a token amount if you have already brought the 360 version, & all your DLC from the 360 transfers over to the XBOX One for no charge. EA/Popcap's only excuse for making us pay for the game again is greed. EA/Popcap do have one redeeming factor - all of the PVZ GW DLC is free. I for one will not be buying PVZ GW for the XBOX One. When we experienced the weeks of poor server performance recently, & EA/Popcap were completely silent on the issue, I returned my game to the store for a full refund on the grounds that it was faulty & unfit for purpose. In light of this & the fact that the matchmaking system is simply atrocious, I will never give Popcap/EA one more penny of my money. I do not give my money to corporations that treat their paying customers with such contempt.
Servers were down recently due to outside attacks and Xbox Live being down, sorry you had a negative experience. Popcap and a bunch of team members usually address any issues on twitter or facebook. This is a user forum, but I try to pop in when I can. Sorry you felt that you didnt receive adequate support on this issue.

I am not referrring to the recent XBOX live issues, nor the recent "Failed to retrieve your data" issue with PVZ. Those were temporary issues which were dealt with within a reasonable time, & we did receive support/info from Microsoft/EA concerning those. I am referring to the weeks before that when the game was unplayable due to severe lag/rubberbanding. We pay Microsoft a subscription for XBOX LIve & to use their servers, & I have generally been happy with that arrangement. But that wasn't good enough for you, was it? You forced us to use your servers, then failed to ensure that they were up to the demands you were placing on them. The lag/rubber-banding in games was so bad the game was unplayable. During all this time, despite several attempts to have this addressed, neither yourself, nor anyone else from EA/Popcap commented on this. That, I think you would agree, falls far short of "adequate customer support".

Im honestly not sure what you are refering to. I likely didnt make an announcement because there was no widespread issue. If I dont see server outages or MS/Sony outages then I have nothing to report. If I dont have people telling me that they have a specific issue in their region then I cant possibly know if it exists.
In any event, again I am sorry you didnt feel that I provided support to you on this issue. I really do try to keep up with whats going on for Live issues

So, Jenni
Why is it that you guys respond to the OT portion of the OP and not address the elephant in this topic room?
Just got xb1 for daughter for Christmas and now I'm going to have to explain to her that EA is not advanced enough (or smart enough?) to simply convert stats, ranks, unlocks etc. to XB1. She has gotten so much excitement over the past year ranking up, getting achievements, unlocking cool things and now getting a much better platform only to LOSE everything she worked for??!! BS
I think it would be better just to rip the entire band-aid off and simply tell her that we are not going to pay for the game AGAIN when it means she has to start over from scratch. What's the point now?
Please address this issue here instead of sidestepping into OT issues!
