Spawn healing would just shift the problem, not solve it. I think the best way to deal with it would be to do what GW2 does: if you camp the opposition's spawn, increasingly powerful waves of enemies will spawn, until eventually you'll be dealing with 4-5 bosses and a bunch of high tier AI characters. This would still allow players to chase enemies to their spawn, but at the same time would punish them for lingering for long periods of time.
