Giddy Park: Trolley Target Range

I admit I don't pay much attention to the messages about stuff in Giddy Park anymore as I always fail at bounty hunts & don't need coins from rides or treasure chests but I just saw a message I haven't seen before "Trolley Target Range now active in Giddy Park"

I went to have a look but couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, nor could I see any kind of  directional markers.

No doubt I'm just unobservant & it's something that's been going for ages, so can someone explain what this is, please? 🤣

    Push the button for those round train cars that sit in the water and ride it, targets will pop up that you can shoot as it travels along.

    Edit: I saw a mention of the Gnome Gnight on Reddit and saw a meter for it last night, but even standing around the site where the meter was full I never saw it and couldn't find how to spawn it. Apparently you get 3 prize bulbs for defeating it.

    @ToastedSarnie I saw that last night... Im guessing you just jump on the trolley doofer and shoot targets on your way round...
    but I also heard Zero talking about some gnome thing in Giddy Park but no idea what that is... anybody know?

    Edit: and it wasn't the gnome room puzzle thing...

    @ToastedSarnie You can shoot the general targets, it's true, but these are specifically popping up just for this event, you'll see what I mean if you get a chance to do it.

    The gnome meter had popped up randomly last night, it's a new giddy park event as far as I can tell, and it reminded me of the quest meters in the backyard in GW2. However, I got the meter full and I never saw a gnome and saw no way to spawn it so I went back to Ops.

    Ok... soooo... just went into my Giddy Park and a meter appeared, so I jumped down to the fair bit and.... 
     first there was a sparky grass bitty near the roundabout and when I stood in it, 
     it said  something like "listen, theres a gnome around" , heard a gnome but couldn't find anything...only heard it once though....

     then suddenly there was a shooty gnome, once I had killed that, 
     then a HUGE gnome that looked like Sir Biff but was actually a champion appeared... killed that and received 3 bulbs 😃
    after that a big pot of gold appeared spewing out coins.

    Interesting and much better than the bounty thing which I always ignore... 😃 this is much better.

    Not exactly sure what the meter does though, it disappeared quite quickly

    Yes and 3 bulbs.... cool as.... but how often do you get to do it is the question?

    @asabaida I also wonder if it works differently in public parks....maybe the meter has an impact then?
    Will have to keep an eye out for it for definite!
