Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2: Hackers Crashing Lobbies, Legit Players Can’t Play

Lately, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 multiplayer has become completely unplayable for normal players because of rampant cheaters and lobby-crashing hacks.

Almost every lobby I join gets instantly crashed or hijacked by hackers using scripts to force-close matches, softlock games, kick everyone, or break the server entirely. No matter which mode, region, or server I pick, the same thing happens—matches end before they start, and we can’t even finish a single round.

Reporting these players does nothing. The anti-cheat is useless, and nothing is being done to stop them. Legitimate fans just want to enjoy the game, but hackers have ruined every server.

Please fix this issue, add proper anti-cheat, and punish cheaters so normal players can play Garden Warfare 2 again.

    I'm running into the same issue. Yesterday and today, I can log into the game, but every time I get into a match, everyone just insta-dies. I do have some tiny luck playing the monthly game mode. There's like a 10% chance I can play that game mode, but even then, someone hacked it so that everyone is invisible and 1 HP.
    I think maybe if we give it a week or two, hopefully the hackers will go away :/
