Gnome Finder Giddy Park
Did the gnome finder battle for three bulbs how often does it come up? I’ve only seen it once.

All I ever saw was a black and white meter with the words gnome finder by it.. Is that it? I did look around the park when I saw the meter was half full yesterday but didn't see anything unusal.

Yes thats it... although havent obseved how the meter works exactly but presume its a a hot/cold kinda thing so you know when you are getting close to the gnome...
You need to look around the park and find the glittery pile and the gnome will be close to that.... you can see a kinda outline of him... if you shoot that he will appear.... he is a little gnome and you have to kill him before the HUGE gnome appears 🧙 kill the big one and youll get 3 bulbs and a pot of gold spewing coins 😃
wow. okay! I will look harder. I thoght it was the hot and cold thing like GW2's find the friend in the backyard. thanks! I tried looking for it this morning and did the trolley target shooting and then that went away and then nothing.

Good luck 😃thanks! checked it out but why isn't there a black and white meter? I never saw anything about a gnome trying to steal something. lol I will definitely keep an eye out and look around even more next time!
Hahahaha.... yes I guess that's true to be honest I have only ever noticed the meter once.... not sure you should worry about that... just look for the notification of the gnome being about and look for the sparkly pile in Giddy Park. The messages like they are stealing something don't really help you at all....
You get the notification, you find the glittery pile... kill the little gnome... then kill the big gnome... and thats it tbh.
I think @TLEsquire has pointed out somewhere on the forum/this thread that the notifications can be easily missed... and as for the meter orexactly what they say ie. they are stealing something... I haven't found these helpful one wee bit.@BlixGoblinThe message is just like one of those little ones you get for treasure chests & goes quite quickly.
ADDED: I think the meter is really useful, but it often takes a while of moving around before it starts changing colour, so it is more than possible you'll come across the pile by yourself.

ADDED: My notifications were funny the other day, so I cleared my search history & then they seemed better yesterday - but they've actually suddenly gone wacky again. Wonder if there's another problem??
The meter is a little flakey. The very first time I had it pop up and fill, I couldn't find anything and last night one time I got the message but no meter, I was able to find the clover patch on my own and hunt the gnome down anyway.
I vanquished him twice last night so that was 6 bulbs! This was on 2 separate trips to my private Giddy Park.
been going around giddy park all morning. finally went into a pvp match then came out. now the gnome meter is up with only a quarter left to go before it's filled up. I have spent 15 minutes going around the whole park and do not see glitter anywhere. In the youtube video there's a big pile of glitter with a green light to it but he doesn't say how he found it. Where was the gnome at that you found? There are lots of other people in the park, too, so i'm surprised no one has found anything. ☹️
spent several hours this morning. already went through trolley shooting, hidden treasure, bounty, coins on gondola, and then trolley target shooting again. nothing. went into a PVP match and came back out and now the meter is almost full. I have spent 15 minutes searching giddy park and have seen nothing. ☹️ feeling so discouraged

How frustrating for you ☹️ first maybe try putting your Giddy Park on private... that might help and give you time to look without having to worry about other folks.
I have only had it twice... first time the glittery pile was just beside the Roundabout... next time it was at the top of some nearby stairs.
Good luck 🙂 to be honest yesterday I spent a bit of time waiting for it to happen but it was taking so long I gave up.
Something else someone mentioned was to reload your Giddy Park till you get the mini game you want...but takes about 5 mins for something to happen... I tried this too but kept getting the wrong one... and you have to wait for 5 mins for the next mini game to load.
I hope you find him... its ridiculous really that it seems so random some folk cant even get it once ☹️

Yes please do... we are rooting for you 🙂❤️🤞@BlixGoblin That meter is definitely experiencing bugs. The first time I had it fill up, I never found the gnome. It has worked for me a couple times just fine but last night, my second time of the day vanquishing him, it said he was around but never got a meter, I bumped into the glowing clover pile and tracked him down without the meter.
maybe the meter on mine is defective as well. i'm going to get on again later today but on private mode.

There is a possibility I think though, that it sometimes bugs out....
I have a private park, the first day I managed to get him twice, once yesterday & again this morning but about an hour ago, I had the message & had problems.
I went down to the park & followed the gnome finder. It went yellow into red about halfway, then suddenly went green (it's never gone green before, always red when full & I find the pile) & filled up. At the full spot there was absolutely nothing.
I went back to the red area, nothing. Tried going to base then back down to park, still the same.
I even wondered if it had glitched on top of sonething, so changed to Peashooter & searched the tops of trees, buildings & rides in the area without luck 😖🤷♀️ Yeah think I only had the meter once and that was before I knew what was going on.... so I presume it is bugged or something. @ToastedSarnie however has had it and said it was really helpful 🙂
@ToastedSarnie - I've not measured it, but 5-8 minutes between event seems accurate.
My observations about the sequence of events strictly apply to Private mode - never tried it in Public mode. I've also never noticed a meter either. I get the message that there's a hidden gnome and I start running around the park. When I get within a certain distance of the gnome, I get another message telling me to listen for him. You can then hunt him using sound and the twinkling trail of green pixels that indicates his position. I've gotten him 6-7 times and, in my experience, he's been in the park area near the trolley over half the time.
@The-evil-jok3r - Thanks for the info about the awarded prize bulbs exceeding the limit of 50. That will give me something to do at the end of the month.

If someone already mentioned this here somewhere, I apologize - You don't need the meter. Just look up to the sky. There will be a thin column of green light shooting straight up from the glittering pile. You can easily see it from anywhere in the park, except maybe from the very opposite ends. Once at the pile, listen to the gnome jumping sound and look for a glittering trail. Shoot at the head of the trail once you see it. Use a tank if you die often. There IS a time limit.
Also, as far as I can tell, the meter does not show in split-screen.
- @BlixGoblin The first time I received the event I was in Private mode and there was a brief announcement that said "The Gnomes are trying to steal our luck" and the meter appeared but I ignored it because I was signing off.
Events in Giddy Park Public are heavily glitched right now so your best bet is to stay in private mode when you're trying this.
The second time it came up for me, when I was waiting for it, All I got was a "Find the Hidden Gnome" message in the bottom left corner and no meter but instead there was a beam of light shining down.
What you are looking for is a small pile of clover on the ground which will be sort of glowy in the way the game indicates that you should interact with something, but you don't actually interact with the pile of clover- once you get close you'll be told to listen for the Gnome.
You'll want to look for little puffs of dirt being kicked up- the same sort of thing which happens when NightCap is moving around invisibly- so you'll want to find those tracks.
The Gnome may stay invisible until you shoot, punch or chomp him so move your crosshair around until it turns red to indicate that you've got him in your sights and then fire.
A two stage fight will start with a Shooty Gnome appearing first. If you have AI active in your park both the Plants and the Zombies with fight him with you.
Once you vanquish the Shooty Gnome a Gnome Gnight Boss will spawn and you start stage two.
Vanquish the Gnight and you get 3 Bulbs and a pot of gold will appear and start spewing out coins over a large area for a decent amount of time. I set my Giddy Park to Private. When the Gnome Finder showed up I took this footage. I think it's bugged or did I miss something?
Nope, I don't think you missed anything...I couldn't see a glittery pile of clover when your meter was green... looks proper bugged to me ☹️ so frustrating for everybody.
I had the meter once... and have only had the mini game itself twice a couple of days ago... I've given up waiting for it tbh. I keep getting all the other mini games.
