Goodness, this god awful hit detection is just awful

When you're a scientist or a hero, and either shooting or punching up close, but then you die and the person that killed you STILL has 100% health, then there is a major major major problem. And I ha...

Even pea shooter splash damage seems to be affected. I just wanna know how melee characters can miss lol. How the heck does that happen.

 detection is really bad right now, many times ive been hitting someone square on and zero damage is being done, then all of a suddden it seems to realise i am actually hitting them and does dmg, i mostly see this on park ranger
