Goop shrooms and Dave's mansion

Nah, wouldn't think that it's the best plan. It could be updated a bit further.
Since the front line plants are wide open, goop-shrooms would be useless because of the fact that they are close range and the zombies will see them almost halfway across the entrance. For the front line, using a diversity of scaredy-shrooms, repeaters, and pea gatling would surely protect your garden at the best. Also, it doesn't hurt to leave a pot for a heal flower.
The runner up plants that are right behind the front line plants (the ones under crazy dave's mansion) will for sure die instantly because the zombies will expect the plants to be all sitting there trying to keep out the zombies from entering (even the potted ones). For those plants, I use either doom-shroom, bamboo shoots, scaredy-shrooms (maybe), bonk choy, goop-shrooms, or some heal flowers. Remember that these plants will die very quickly so prepare to lose them quick.
As for the pots above the mansion, they are extremely vital towards defending the top part if you don't have a person that's good at sniping from above. For those plants use doom-shrooms, goop-shrooms, fume-shrooms, and bonk choy to defend the top. Having a bamboo shoot on top doesn't hurt either, but may protect only the bottom and not the top. If you use the first 4 plants that I just listed in this paragraph, then you would have a very good killing machine up there. Example: have a goop-shroom in one of the two pots near the door and either a doom-shroom or a bonk choy. Goop-shroom will slow down the zombie then either bonk choy or doom-shroom will finish him off.
More than likely, zombie players will rush the top part of the mansion and won't expect what is coming to them on top. Average players tend to not care where they are going and are just mindlessly using rushing skills to get to the top part of the mansion then before you know it, they get killed by potted plants. Note that none of this above will work as good if you are against players with a brain that remembers where each pot is located on the map.
