Best balanced = all characters and abilities for competitive play are unlocked for everyone upon simply purchasing the video game (Gears of War, Marvel vs Capcom, etc.)
Still balanced = handing out exp or currency that can be spent on whatever abilities you wish to use (Star Wars: Battlefront)
Not balanced at all = relying on RNG to handout characters and abilities over days of play time (PVZGW2)
Once again this isn't about "completing a game". I'd still play 30+ hours of PVZ even if every playable character and move was unlocked upon simply purchasing the game. I'd just be enjoying it more if you could buy what you wanted to from the store. Or better yet, if you wanted to add a bunch of fluffy replayability to your game make it so we unlock the next class by Mastering that plant or zombie.
The thing is... It is 100% balanced. Everyone has the SAME RNG.
You're balance complaint makes no sense and has no ground.
Are you saying just because someone is luckier than you with an unlock the entire's game balance is shifted in their favor?
Maybe you have a bigger problem and are just awful at the game.
- 9 years ago@iEmulatedi, you are aware RNG stands for random number generator right? The fact that you think us having equal RNG % = balanced is laughable. You have an equal RNG chance of being able to pick a Rose as everyone else so I guess ultimately it's balanced because the RNGesus says so.
Any one person unlocking top tier characters and abilities 20 hours before someone else due to RNG is not as balanced as everyone having access to all characters. Don't even know how you could debate otherwise.- 9 years ago
Its not random when there is no 'random' button when you choose your class buddy.
People are CHOOSING to play rose.
I didn't expect this to turn into a rose hate thread, but here you go!
I'm guessing the only reason you made this post is because you don't have a fire or ice rose eh?
Funny story, I have them both unlocked. But haven't used either because I think it would ruin others' fun.
However I can now see through the RNG complaints and straight into your jealous, salty heart.- 9 years ago
I hate to tell you this but RNG is equal for everyone just because someone gets lucky doesn't mean the RNG favored them in some way or another, everyone gets a RANDOM chance at getting something.
