Gw and bfn's very bizarre armor piercing mechanics

Pvz shooters wierd history with anti armor mechanics. Armored characters is refering to characters like outhouse zombie, vase weed, newspaper zombie, and wood shield weed.

All of these characters have equipment that takes a long time to break or protects their body unless certain characters are involved however every game has gone about it differently.

Gw1: Fume shroom is the dedicated armor buster of the plant team being able to take out even outhouses armor in 4 shots however he was overall eh in regular combat as he did a burst that did 6 damage per burst which wasn't enough to deal with bucketheads or large groups of coneheads effectively.

Strangely he wasn't the only armor breaking pot in gw1.

Snapdragon also bypassed armor for whatever reason and with his 7 damage with burn affects allowed him to actually do some decent damage to armored zombies.

Bonk choy ignored armor altogether allowing him to one shot newspaper and screendoor while two shotting outhouse and coffin which in zome scenarios makes him an even better armor buster than fume shroom. Man I miss gw1 bonk choy folding everyone.

Scaredy shroom also has it which gives him a few options to work with.

Chomper is the only player class to have anti armor properties in gw1 as he could destroy outhouses armor instantly with spikeweeds and all his primary weapons penetrated the armor. This actually makes him more useful in the later waves as he doesn't have to aim at his oppoenents weak spots.

Alien flowers spore mist also ignored enemy armor.

Gw2: many pots from gw1 lost their armor piercing and chomper now longer bypasses armor. Z mech has a form of non critical damage armor that helps protect him from damage but rose byoasses this and deals normal damage regardless of where she hits it.

She does not bypass the spawnable armor however.

This could've given her more incentive to be played as she's the least played ops class from my perspective though her goatify does allow her to temporarily achieve this.

The zombies also recieved breaker bot who takes more hits to break armor but has superior range.

Bfn: this one is strange as z mech has no armor.

Nightcap was the one given armor penetration this time around and I wish popcap would just pick one of these characters and stick with them or drop it entirely except for defensive spawnables. Strange since nightcap only has to fight two armored enemies.

I don't know if I get all of these but I just wanted to bring light to this bizarre mechanic.
