It is a terrible random, it isn't guarantee you those characters. I bought yesterday 65€ a pack of 2,500,000. Nothing of all those! Nothing about abilities! 
I followed your guide and didn't work...

Sorry but sticker packs are the worst idea in PvZ GW2...

I think you misunderstand a bit- this particular Guide exists to explain what characters have s chance to drop from each type of Sticker Pack.

There is never any guarantee involved to any Sticker Pack purchase except for the Phenomenal Character Pack which will always unlock one of the basic launch characters up to Super Rare.

When character pieces or alternate abilities actually drop is entirely random and completely unpredictable. In that regard spending just a couple of million PvZ coins is simply a small fraction of what you'll ultimately spend waiting for those random drops to happen.

    If you're trying to find a thread concerning alternate abilities, then this thread is not for you. This thread is all about how to unlock Legendary Characters and Items; please be more honest here.

      I can confirm that Fertilizer Fun Pack and Amazing Brainz Pack drop abilities for Plants and Zombi characters.

      It was weird the fact I bought a lot of these packs and no abilities, but later (last Friday) with coins earned from game, I dropped some abilities.

      Okay about horrible drop rate, but PoPCap can do it better...

      I am still trying to buy those packs for get legendary characters like as Toxic Brainz and Computer Scientist.

        This guide is very helpful. I am rank plate 24 and still have only half of all legendary characters as well as missing hats. I know if I get half a piece to a legendary character, I won't see one again for a month or two. It is tedious and costly.

        Love rux however he has been very disappointing the past few months. I'd like to see more special customizations and abilities like the vamp weeds. More 1,000,000 opportunity pieces to disco chomper or bring the unicorn to those of us who could buy him with coins from rux...
