Gw2 Halloween Event
Hello everyone, I'm making this just to share my opinion about the GW2 Halloween event.
Ok so first of all I wanna come out saying that this Halloween event was a bust. Now it wasn't all bad, but I just wanna share on what I think they can do to make these festive events better. So I liked how they made everyone go to the game every day to talk to sleepy bat and grab the customizations for free, I think this is a fun little way to get the players involved. But here are my problems, First off is that I think the overall timeframe of the event was short, I think it should've been longer, and at least 2 weeks before Halloween itself to give people more time to gather things. Secondly I think the sticker packs were the biggest problem, we only get a short amount of time to buy them, and for them to be 40k is a little pricey. I wouldn't mind that price if they had given us more quantities of consumables, instead of being rather stingy. Also I feel as they didn't put much effort into making costumes for the weeds, zombies, etc.. I think we should have gotten more costumes for the consumables , even given us at least 1 more customization for our actual characters. If the event was longer I think the first week would be fine without any packs and just with the special event a.k.a "sleepy bat", and for the whole second week they should have the sticker pack available so we would have more time to gather and stock up on them. Lastly, Some minor things but would've been cool to see. It would've been nice to see them cover the backyard battleground with Halloween decorations, such has jack-o-lanterns, skeletons, buckets of candy, and etc. Maybe given it some music to fit the event, and given us some event exclusive missions. All in all I'm disappointed in how little effort they seemed to put into it, hopefully Christmas will be better, and hopefully next years Halloween will be better aswell. Anyways Thanks for reading this and I'm curious if any of you feel the same way, and maybe add some things that they could've done better aswell. 🥳
