how do you report trolls in gw2

there is no in game report option like there is on pc for console players (which there needs to be btw) so how can i report people who are obviously trolling so they can be banned from the game (fyi ...

    yes and microsoft would  be able to do this BECAUSE there report system allows for more then just message report but when i hit the report option on ps4 and select to report player for ingame harrasment it ONLY gives the option to block someone and that wont prevent future trolling

    and to just further clarify ill quote the report in game option message

    "if a player in a game is offensive or causing trouble, go back to the game, and report the player using the game's report function (some games might not have a report function.) you can also block the player"

    so yeah console at least for ps4 is NOT an option

What @realitysquared has mentioned is correct, you would need to report any players that are breaking the ToS through the console reporting system.

    @nightshadow989 - Unfortunately there isn't an in-game report system at the moment. I can only recommend for now that you block them and anyone else who experiences trolling of any kind can do the same.

    Hopefully it was just a one off.

      I've completely turned off my messaging to block unwanted comments. That unfortunately includes everybody on my friends list.

      I'm only here to play the game, not to make friends or have a-holes send me rude msgs.

        i actually just report those messages and they get banned from psn most likely cause i wasnt the only report :P if someone wants to get butthurt cause i can play detonation characters the right way then thats there issue not mine and now they lost there psn accounts over it XD

      sadly this isnt a one off and seems to be basically adults doing the trolling believe it or not and normally to those who can play the game better then them so when they cant go positive against someone they instead switch to there team and try to * up there games in a sad attempt to boost there own egos cause they know they are making the other person mad

      thankfully ive only ran into a few in my 750+ hours of the game but its STILL an issue that requires addressing cause you can get into multiple matches with said person and once they find you they dont let up something microsoft doesnt tollerate and niether should popcap when it comes to consoles even more so for ps4 players like myself who cant expect sony to bann the person like microsoft will for in game actions
