How to change from Night to day? it's always on night time

Hi all, just wondering how do you change from night to day, my son has a disability and he doesn't like playing in night time on plants verses zombies all the time. it seems to be staying night time ...

    The time of day is random you can't change it.

im sorry but if you are playing on console then the time of day is random but if you have the game on the computer then you can maybe install a mod that can let you set the time of day to be day or night but installing a mod is sorta complicated so if you do look it up on youtube
