How to enable voice chat?

VOIP is always enabled, no push to talk, and no way to disable it, terrible design choice, idk who though VOIP enabled was a good idea

This is a Day 1 Bug. I am an X1 player and we have had this issue since release. VOIP in this game is messed up. just look at the older posts

The open mic is stupid but agian its even worse when there is no option at all to see if your mic is on, if you your mic is transmitting and also no option to adjust it enable/disable it.

That's the thing, while yes, this is a terrible idea to not have any option to disable or set to push to talk, my issue is no voice heard at all. I guess my bug is everyone else's wish...

Set your "Default Communications Device" under Playback Devices to the output you want voice comms to be heard on.

Is this about voice chat in the game?

That's to disable it.  To enable it, makes sure it's using the Default Communications Device on the one you hear out of.

Does the game itself make sound?
