I'm a little confused, because there was never a way to earn Unicorn Chomper in GW2, and this character has never once been offered for sale, by coins or any other means. The only way to get him was to achieve max rank on GW1 and do the character transfer during the first year the game was out.
The only thing that comes to mind is that there was one week a couple years back when this character was featured on the hero showcase and playable for that week. Popcap did this so that players who did not play GW1 or missed the transfer date could at least achieve the levels on the character, so that they could still rach max rank. It was not, and has never been, available to be purchased.
