How to online split screen
Please could somebody explain how I can split screen online with my son at home. We can do the regular split screen, but how do we both go online with splitscreen.

We figured it out, you can't use local accounts. Each of the players needs to create one of the free playstation accounts, no need for a PS plus subscription. Then it will ask to also set up an ea account when you first log into pvz. You can't initiate the game from the free account though unless you trick it a bit. The fist player with the ps plus account needs to initially start the game.

Do you mean a PS account, or an EA account? PS accounts can be made online I believe - start here:

You'll be looking to sign in to your account first, then poke around to see where to add another user. If that doesn't work, try making it from settings -> accounts (or something like that) from your PS. Typing is so much more convenient on the computer, though.
