How to Play Team Vanquish
There are two strategies to winning matches in this game mode:
1. Camp the middle / highest point of the map.
2. Spawn rush the opposing team.
1. At the beginning of the match, it's anyone's game. Whoever prevails is who will take all. It's all or nothing, so don't sleep during this mode. Once Crazy Dave or Dr. Zomboss begin rambling about you or their lives at stake, literally sprint to the center and brace for chaos to erupt. In maps like Pressure Pier, try and control the lighthouse portion so enemies have to attack from lower ground. If you manage to wipe out all enemy forces, protect it with your life. If you fail, flank the enemy team so they're getting attacked on multiple sides. (BTW, I'm going into this knowing that you're team won't be organized). Your spawn depends on where the enemy team is least active at. So in Daisy Drive, if plants are near the treehouse, zombies would spawn by the gas station.
2. Spawn rushing is a term taken from Rainbow 6 Siege where attackers race to the building without any real strategy (and turning it into a real strategy). Pretty much do the same strategy as the first for the beginning; rush to middle and hope that you and your team win. This time, you stay alive and sprint to where you and your team are occupying the least. In Pressure Pier (best map), if you're by the lighthouse, the opposing team is likely spawning by the beach. You pretty much sprint on over there and they'll immediately be surprised after getting brutally pounded by the forces of the dead / vegetation. If YOU'RE the victim of spawn rushing, this may sound counter-intuitive, but vanquish yourself to get a head start so the spawn rushers get rushed on your teammates they're rushing.
It's also important to know your role; if you're Nightcap, you wanna distract zombies and flank them. If you're All-Star, you're best with strategy 1. Also, I say talk about these strategies since Team Vanquish isn't a game mode with specific strategies. These two are great on your own but very effective with an organized team. That said, always stick with your team and fill in roles that aren't fulfilled. Remember to revive and don't fight on the edges. There are probably more effective strategies but they likely take more organization and skill. Post over.
