How to Turn Off Anti Aliasing and Chromatic Aberration?

Is there any way to turn off the Anti Aliasing in this game? I currently have the game's graphics maxed out with native 4k resolution, and yet it's blurry and smoothed over like the game is forcing anti-aliasing. I want to turn it off, but there is no such option to. Is there a config file somewhere I can turn it off? Will the option be added into the game soon?

The game also appears to be using 'chromatic aberration' I think, and if so I'd want to turn that off. I'm seeing subtle blue and red outlines around everything. However I don't see any graphics/video setting to turn that off. As with Antialiasing is there a config file I can edit to turn it off? Will the option to turn if off be added into the game someday? I may be wrong about the game having chromatic aberration, but it really does look like it's in there.

Yes, the game forces blurry aa no matter you change in the config file. It is so blurry. I cant understand why and HOW this game is available for buying in this state. In gw2 you can disable AA ingame. I really hope, that devs will fix that blur and stutter. Fov slider and scaler with res up to 200% would be awesome too. Sadly, I had to return it because all of the issues. I will buy it again, when everything is fixed.

I managed to turn off the game's Anti Aliasing in the config files. In 'Documents\PVZ Battle for Neighborville\settings' I opened the 'PROFSAVE_profile' with notepad, found 'GstRender.AntiAliasingDeferred' turned it to 0, but that didn't seem to do anything. So the option below it 'GstRender.AntiAliasingPost' I turned to 0 and that seemed to have turned off the game's AA. It doesn't however turn off the forced Chromatic Aberration, which makes the jaggies a bit more noticeable. But at least I got AA turned off.

If you're using an Nvidia GPU, you can go into Nvidia Control Panel, and turn off the Anti-Aliasing there, under "Manage 3D Settings".

As far as the Chromatic Abberation goes, I don't believe there is a setting to turn that off at the moment.

Let us know if you still need help.

    Thanks 🙂

Thanks for the suggestion! Though I don't think it worked as the game and edges of objects still appear awfully blurry. Unless that is the Chromatic Abberation doing it. The game seems to be forcing AA and Chromatic Abberation, and I'd love to be able to turn them off.
