I too have defended plants saying they aren't weak but i won't deny that some could use a buff (mainly the chomper) while a lot of the zombie characters could use a slight nerf. It's just annoying to see so many threads saying to buff up all the plants and nerf these zombies when the plant teams aren't as bad as they make it out to be.
The plants are just out gunned, its the burst damage from the zombies that is the issue. Sure the plants have this and that but the raw damage is higher on the zombie's side. Most of the abilities you can just use without having to "root" into the ground. That takes time and you are a target while doing it. I love playing my peashooters and now my bean bomb just gets pushed around like its a soccer ball.
Electro brains is just in a class all by himself with the damage to his target being 5 and everything else 15? Why on earth would this be so, you aim at the potted plant and kill everything else and its still alive.
