I and others can't Join our friends game through the EA HUD/APP in GW1

Back when the HUD was Via Origin, it was possible to join (when a friend was playing in a match)  in GW1 directly through the HUD...

But now via the change to EA App/HUD, I am unable to join my friend's matches in Garden Warfare 1.  

This is unfortunate and needs to be fixed as this was the only way for a person in dead servers 🌵 (like Oceania)🌍 to join a friend who was in eu or us servers and therefore be able to play multiplayer matches.

This is also useful to fix the HUD and to fix/add a change server option in gw1 as it would be 1. easy to do.  2. Increase player base and therefore increase revenue 💰 for EA.👍

Does anyone else have this problem? and should this be fixed? (I believe strongly❕❕❕ it does!!!)
