Hi
I play on PC, Origin. I'm surprised the game tried to do that weird thing with origin even though it's for steam. I would become crazy if that happened to me.
About how to cancel abilities, pea Gatling should be cancelled using the same key that you use to enable it (number 2 above key W) or you can press letter C to cancel it. The abilities are use with keys Q, 2, E. I know, weird default positions. Specially considering that in GW2 keys 1, 2 and 3 were assigned to that stuff and E was used to interact (now it's key F) I personally think GW2's key assignment is better and I don't know why they changed it (although you get used to it)
About the mic issue, I've seen a lot of posts here related to that one (the default speaker setting seems not to be properly set up) but I didn't bother to fix it because I usually don't like hearing background noise from people who forget their mics opened hahahaha
Talking about minimizing, I have that same issue from time to time (hardly ever though) but in my case I'm completely sure it's origin related. It happens to me when a friend does something and Origin notifies me (like connecting, disconnecting, started playing some games, etc). It has been like this since GW2, so that's why I'm sure it's Origin.
It's true that there aren't any big hints at what the controls are but you can check all that info in the game options which you can access from the menu (TAB key). I honestly can't remember how I learnt that the first time I played GW2 but in whatever game I always assume TAB, Enter or Escape keys do something related with menues
I think you could add some other aspects of your experience on PC? Like what do you think about the player base, if you think there is targetting, toxic ratio of people against whatever console platform you play, etc. I have to agree with @Gormey that saying "PC don't buy it" can be too harsh since the version you played is the one on Steam not on Origin. Something like "I just tried the Steam version" would be better, but it's just my opinion.
I installed this game by Origin one year ago, but there was no problem.
But as I said in another thread ( A Question for PC Players? ) , a gaming PC that I bought 2 years ago and fills recommended spec is not appropriate for BfN slightly.
If I play BfN for 1 hour or so, it sometimes becomes laggy.
>The game randomly minimizes itself.
This happens to me when Origin tells me that a friend logs in, starts a game, ends a game, or logs off (not 100%, maybe 25% or so).
This bug may ends if I change Origin settings, but I don't try it.
