Invisble Characters / Can't move

Same problem on PS4. I've read about this quite some time ago, but never ran into this bug myself. But since about 3 days ago, we suddenly started seeing this. It mostly happens when switching side (plants -> zombies, zombies -> plants).
Point of interest: we changed the settings of Giddy Park to "online" 3 days back.

[EDIT:] After chaning the settings back to "private with AI", the bug seems to be gone. Can anyone confirm this?
The invisibility problem seems to be affected by the festivals. While Snowday was very bad, Valenbrainz was better. The current event seems to be bad again: After hanging out a while in Giddy Park you will soon see arrows without teammmates and get vanquished by invisible opponents.
And this is still happening 5 months after it was discovered.
Well it is a long term investigation according to the trello board, they are probably just having a very hard time trying to find out what is causing it. I cant seem to replicate it at least on purpose.
