Iron Citron is a Boss

I always liked Iron Citron even though I have seen a lot of people complain about how bad and slow he is. I usually do quite well with him in most games. Wether it be Turf Take Over or straight up Team Vanquish. But last night I was playing some Turf Take Over with a friend when apparently all the stars aligned and I had a game where I ended up with 61 kills and a 47 kill streak. 

It is kind of a bragging topic I know. But I just love Iron Citron. Best plant in the game hands down.

    oh hey someone that actually knows how to use iron citron instead of saying he's weak and horrible

    My highest vanquish in one game with the iron citron is 107 vanquishes and my highest streak was 54. I always carry my team with it and always get first. Not sure why people are saying the iron citron is weak.

    Iron citron gets waay better with his double reload upgrades

    I know that I said that Iron Citron was somewhat weak, but back than I only played with it for 25 minutes at my friends house. Now, after finally getting him out of a Fertilizer Fun Pack, my mind has changed. I'm used to playing as the Tank Commander, so he was very easy to get used to and the primary feels perfect. I don't even need Iron Mode anymore because he's already good in the hands of a skilled player without it. I could go on and on about praising it because it is my new go-to Plant, but I think 69 kills and a 60 vanquish streak in multiplayer are enough to prove that he's awesome.

    He is good with the reload speed upgrades.But i dislike the Bar Upgrade that doesn't work only on Turf.

    Also, he is very good but only in some context. low range maps or when you have more sunflowers in your team.

    To take profit of his kit you need to be constantly at full hp (otheriwse regular Citron has better DPS and better splash damage)
    If you want to take profit of this, you need to run one HPregen upgrade or duo premade with a sunflower friend.
    If a sunflower constantly heal you i say is worth the effort to unlock the reload upgrades.*

    Hes much harder to play with a controller but yes, it's always vanquish streak. I snipe with it ;P

    No keyboard and mouse. I play on XBox One.

    Also, my friend was doing her own thing. I did not have a constant healer. Someone might have healed me a bit at some point. Also, I use two reload upgrade and either movement speed or damage upgrade. Can't recall which.
