My understanding is that Citron has the best base sprint speed of any class; this is on top of having the most options for Upgrades that add to speed.
Flank, then put your barrel on their head.
1: Emergency Exit - Adds to sprint speed
2: Freshly Squeezed - Adds to sprint speed
3: Peel Out - Allows for finding cover behind you
4: Fallback - Unreliable as your health needs be too low
5: Speedy - Available to everyone; doesn't add to sprint
6: Adrenaline Rush - Similar to Freshly Squeezed, but adds to walk and sprint.
These all combine with each other; this class excels at flanks or kiting.
@siclehilde im pretty sure imp is faster. same with invisible nightcap.
I can't find the post where someone measured out the speed.
The Imp seems faster due to the camera being low to the ground.
An invisible Nightcap is hardly base sprint speed; may as well compare to spin dash speed then.
If a Citron has the correct upgrades equipped, he could probably have the fastest movement speed of any character in his sprint form. There are some abilities that grant high mobility however such as Arcane Enigma and Shadow Sneak. So it’s difficult to contend with. I’ve heard however that Citron has the highest base sprint speed in the game (and is the only character unaffected by reduced sprint speed after taking damage). It’s also pretty simple to add to this speed he has. I suppose it comes down to what upgrades you use! 🙂
GW2's Citron was straight up great. BfN's version isn't as great compared to that one. However, I've still seen players excel with aggresive playstyle.
