He's not. Infact people are playing much more frequently Citron and Chompers.
Remeber post patch how was plant usually team comp?
x6 Kernel Cornx6 Rose
Free lose.
Now i see at least 3 Citron and 3 Chompers every match and at least, even if tyou tend to loose more as a plant, matches are much more enjoyable!
Btw what i really dislike is the zoologist. You have to save your empeach or you cant hold on their dps, even with a tankier character. - Anonymous10 years agoI love the zoologist but people definitely abuse him. It will be sad if they rose nurf him to the ground. I won't even use him in multi-player right now cause there's always 3 or 4 running around every match.
I agree completely, I normally play the same variants on each side but if there are lots of the counter I switch it up, that is one of the things I hated about battleborn not having the ability to switch it up mid game. I loved playing the scientist early on but its wore off for me.
P
- If I were to guess why it's HARD to switch to Citron or Chomper, both the classes are HARD to play as generally. (I have no problem playing as both, the Chomper can be difficult to master when eating a zombie can get you killed)
The thing though is that chomper don't really counter scientist. Expect for armor chomper.

Well, the Chomper us tough enough to survive multiple hits, he gas the most annoying stun in the entire game, Spikeweed, which can catch any Scientist after his warp and Burrow. These are pretty good tools to counter Scientist if used correctly. They might require be more defensive, but even then, appart from the Hot Rod Chomper and the Chomp Thing, every Chomper can goe toe to toe with a Scientist if you don't rush head on. (Which is something you should never do as Chomper or Super Brainz) - Anonymous10 years ago
Thing is, I mostly see people just rush head first, goop, then try for a chomp. Some more experienced players will burrow first, then go in, chomp, and have a goop ready to counter. I've even been gooped, had a spikeweed placed at my feet to ensnare me, then vanquished. /With no long range primary or secondary attack, he forces you to play very tactical.

Chompers need a stronger bite (at least the ones that bite) So that those who get in their faces regret it. Too many times a Scientist manages to end my Chomper because my bites don't kill him fast enough. He actually out dps me in close range.
