Played the game for a couple hours this afternoon/evening and it's hard not to notice that there are barely any players online. Loading into Giddy Park I am the only player on a public server, reload a few times and each time I'm the only player on a public server. Then I try the weekly event and I've only managed to actually play it once in the last few hours. It's just constant waiting for 2, 3, 4 or even 5 players. Waiting so long the 1 or 2 people waiting with me drop out so when someone finally joins we're still several players short. At one point I even got kicked for inactivity because it kept me waiting so long. My friend is finding the exact same thing, spawning in an empty public Giddy Park, long waits for the battle area if you even get to play at all. Anyone else finding this?

@TheSprinter85 & @EC2895 There are many reports of this on the technical issues and bug reports forums already.They have been reported to team, but there hasn't been any feedback yet.The bug reports about this and all of the issues with Rux are seemingly being ignored.I thought we were still going to get bug fixes, so why is no-one paying attention to the reports?

I'm in west servers, and after the update there has been so many people playing. I mostly play TV and TT tho. Haven't tried the weekly game mode. And as far as giddy, it seems to always be full for me. I'm only by myself in giddy after lagging out of a game.

Fair enough, I did try TT and there were 4 or 5 actual players in each team, just a shame no one seems to be playing the weekly event. That, or I'm just being very unlucky

no, probably because EA have now crippled the game . there is little point playing anymore, no new rewards or prize maps. pointless, guess they are hoping that the servers die off, (in the next 3 months or so) ,

I play Xbox One, I do not particularly find empty lobbies particularly often but there are times where I struggle to find a game at all! In that case, I switch to regions that are more popular than my local region, such as North American East and West servers. I find that I find full Ops lobbies much more easily at less busy parts of the day, likely because those players that are on struggle to find matches with others!

@EC2895 I play on PS4, so I can't really talk about the xbox player base, but I thought more people played BfN on Xbox?
If I remember correctly, GW1 was a timed exclusive on xbox one and ever since more people played the series on Xbox.
I have seen a bunch of posts about the final update on social media, and a lot of people seemingly had full lobbies on xbox. Maybe setting your server to another region in the multiplayer portal could help?

Even weirder, I was on my own in a public Giddy Park and my friend was put on their own as well even though we were set for the same region. Would have thought we'd at least be put together if we were some of the only players for that region.
Either way, the issue seems to have resolved itself now as I'm getting full lobbies for Giddy Park, the weekly event is still a bit hit and miss but overall seems to be more people playing. Thanks for the advice!

@EC2895 Glad to hear everything is back to normal. It might have been a small connection / matchmaking issue then. I have sometimes been put into empty lobbies as well even though there were plenty of nearly full lobbies.

@EC2895 I play on xbox and i have NEVER found a "dead" lobby, even if there's like 4-5 players, a couple mins after the lobby would be full. (but that's rare.)

Until now I was the same, occasionally you'd get a really empty lobby but it'd be full within minutes. However I've had the same issue again today throughout the day; load into public Giddy Park, completely on my own, again and again. It's really bizarre. Plus the events (treasure chest, ride X for coins and bounty) seem to be almost constant when it's like this. It's almost as if it glitches me into a private lobby but the game still thinks its public for some reason, and reloading Giddy Park or Closing and reloading the entire game makes no difference. Not a huge issue as multiplayer is still working but bit of a shame. Definitely nothing to do with the time either as it's always been busy at the times I've been playing in the past

I've even tried hanging around for a bit to see if anyone turns up and nothing after almost an hour. Only person who joined was a friend via join game options
