Thats interesting...
While I usually exit the game properly, we occasionally have electric dropouts for a few moments which, of course, causes everything to shut down... only happens very sporadically but maybe that causes the issue : /
Point in case - when trying to write this reply last night during a thunder storm the electric went off (although PVZ was not involved this time)
Now that you have suggested this possible cause@dwooten77... I will keep it in mind for the next time it occurs.
And of course I will report back if any other information becomes apparent.
