Didn't work on release so most people turned it off, it wasn't that. It's the jolted movements you do when you're retreating. That's not really possible with a controller, just looked like mouse movements to me 🙂
It's perfectly possible with a controller. And it looks nothing like mouse movement. Go watch PC gameplay on YT, the difference is obvious.
