Kiting the Squash
Can you shoot the squash from ground level to encourage him to get off the roof? I thought I had some success with this but i couldn't tell for sure.

Yes you can....but the top platform must be empty of players for the squash to come down, so there has to be communication between players.
Well... we just had a lot of practice with it. It works better if you can get somewhat near him and guide him. Then when he’s down the steps shoot him from a distance till your comfortable. We almost had it but had are fourth lag out. I struggled at first with the new account limiting my abilities as a paleontologist. I finally found my groove. But man a heal bomb would of been nice.
I don't think it actually affects the Squash. It may work but who knows why.
From my experience line of sight seems to be a major thing and possibly even taunting may affect it.
The problem is once the Squash decided to go up while the anchor is going, the two people up top can only hope for the best by staying out of sight. Stink Cloud can help with that. But if the Squash decides to hop around inside the claimed anchor area nothing can be done. Popcap really has to exclude the upper area from the bosses path for as long as the anchor is going.

I couldn't do diddly with scientist until I got heal bomb on my low level account. I'm too used to it. I also require rocket leap before I can get my soldier groove on on that account.
