Let me ask you all: Why do we play this game franchise?

Like many of the posters stated, I got into the game because the kids in my family loved it and finally dragged me into it. I keep playing because it's fun and silly and clever and challenging. Community events were fun and I like many of the cooperative aspects in the game. It's been going so long it even has a nostalgia factor going for it now. The new game still needs some work but I'm happy to help that along if I can and play while they work out various kinks, big and small.
