I was hoping for a Sunflower buff as well. I'm glad they're looking at things without going overboard. Acorns/Oaks are so abused (and I take advantage of how it works it in PvE a lot to be honest) that we knew changes were coming. I expected to see something for the Space Cadet/Station too, if not the big balance patch, soon after. Night Cap needed to be toned down without going crazy. Note they left her ranged damage number alone, but reduced its effectiveness at long range. Fung Fu can one shot Champion Soldiers in PvE, so that's a ton of damage in a big area. As long as she can still be good at infiltration and picking wounded zombies off, she should still be a good class.
I'd love to know where some other classes are falling on the balance curve right now, some feel at least a little weak like Rose, some feel great like Engineer and Super Brainz, some feel really solid without being too strong or weak like Peashooter.
Really glad to see a buff for Corn and Soldier, and that they are going to make rocket jump easier to use, it just feels weird to use it right now. I do play All-Star a bit and he never felt that bad but if they give him only a minor boost, he should be fine.
Edit: Ops, yeah that was my least favorite part of the live stream. It sounds like it will be better than it is now, but not great. I'm not really a fan of the idea of having to go to the PvE zones OPs area to do Ops as a side, it kind of defeats the purpose of having a central hub, and it would only be that particular map. I'm really not sure why Ops is like it is now (I understand the dedicated vs. personal portion of that change), it just feels so much worse than it was in GW2.
Oh it'll all be alright I guess... we all just have to adjust to the adjustments 😃
More concerned about Ops still to be honest....

Oak adjusted and not Space Station?
Horrible news for me as I wish buffs rolled out before nerfs.
I can’t fathom making some characters useless while strengthening others? Strengthen everyone and then see what’s lacking.... frustrating to me and counters common sense.

.... Further thought process:
now the zombies will have a superior teamplay character (Space Station) plus a Mech?
Guess I’m missing the logic?

@spIash_damage
A solo space station is nowhere near the power level of a solo oak. Thats the whole reason they are nerfing oak to begin with. At the moment its always better to have 4 oaks than it is to have 1 oak with 3 acorns in it because oaks are too powerful by themselves. A solo space station feels pretty bad to play in comparison. This actually brings oak more in line with the space station more than anything.
What i dont understand is why we are buffing foot soldier damage but not corn damage when they both fill the same role. I would understand if corn was the only one getting the fire rate increase while soldier only got the damage as they would equal out. Unfortunately thats not the case. So soldiers getting 2 buffs to his primary while corn gets 1 when they both do the same damage and fill the same role.

Told. Ya. So. You don't fix OP by buffing everyone else. You fix OP by nerfing the OP. Otherwise you just wind up with everyone OP.
