Limiting Variants

Am I the only one who thinks limiting teams from having more than 2 character variants per team is a good idea?

A lot of people say,"It's my game and I want to play it with whatever character I want."

I can understand that to an extent. I'm also aware that it just so happens that you WANT to play whichever character is OP. It used to be rose, and all of a sudden people stopped caring about rose when they noticed electro *. When electro brainz is nerfed, it will become another character variant that you WANT to abuse.

It gets incredibly frustrating when all there is on zombies is Brainz, Imp and scientist. On plants it's all toxic pea, citron and a little more toxic pea.

This game is much different than other shooters. There are so many variants that creating true balance between every character is pretty close to impossible. Most games have far fewer variations, thus making the balancing quite the bit easier.

If we're looking for true balance, at least limiting teams from having multiple OP variants can help mitigate the problems.

Try playing as another character, *.
