I'm sorry man, it looks like you're the only one that feels this way. Maybe they will add more precise search tools in the future so you can at least play attack more often or zombies, or both.
honestly I think this new system is wonderful, like I said earlier it really opens up the game and lets you experience attacking and defending as both classes. honestly when the maps were balanced I found both modes/teams equally fun.
I don't want to be "that guy" but if you said you are bored of GW1 attacking as zombies then I don't see why you would find it all the sudden more fun in the second game, essentially you are playing the same game with a new skin.

listen, I'm going to be honest. People here are saying they don't want it. I tried to be nice and offer compromises with a more specific search feature for Turf Takeover but you didn't want to hear it. Separating the game modes would splinter the game queues, you knew what you were getting into when you bought this game, Turf Takeover was heavily advertised. If you're bored of the first game maybe it's because all you did was attack as zombies. Maybe you're only playing half the game, why should they give you new features when you're too stubborn and close minded to use the ones that are here. You don't want to defend or play plants, you're cutting out over half the game right there. If you hate playing over half the current game you should learn to enjoy playing plants and enjoy playing defense or just find a new game.
Also I use to only play plants in GW1, but like I said earlier I stuck with the zombies and I really enjoy playing them. Roadie Z is currently my fav class in the game and I would have never found out about him had I just stuck to playing plants on defense 24/7.
New features? Im not asking for anything new it would take minimal effort and nothing new would be created. Too stubborn and close minded? i tried it and didn't like it being close minded is not trying it at all and saying it sucks. People here are saying they don't want it? Duh idk why people act like pvzgw2 has a tiny playerbase there are more than enough players need proof? they added taco bandits in the last game (a mode i liked) and it didn't make all the other modes unplayable. what do you want people to say on twitter, "please keep turf takeover only queue please"? I mean honestly, think about it, why would anyone say that on twitter or another platform? People rarely talk about the things they enjoy about the game or like, they usually ask for new features (like you are doing now) or balance updates.
