The tournament still has many errors. My team won the game defending like zombies and still gave us the defeat and the opposing team went to the next round.Please fix those mistakes in the next tournament.

Hey all, do not accuse others of cheating. This is known as naming and shaming and is against the AHQ User Rules and Guidelines. Also, if you cannot post in a constructive and polite manner without insulting other users then I will be locking this thread.

Is there any form of an on-site judge/moderator for the tourney? I would assume after the complaints from a couple weeks ago that there would be some form of in-game verification besides replays.

We had the same problem. We played as zombies, blocked them on the third round and it said we lost and the plant team went on.

apparently there are more inconveniences. In the South American Cup the tournament was paralyzed for more than 2 hours. Some teams abandoned just before the game started so the round could not start and in the classification table it is still shown as an open game.

I inform this to take into account those details in the next tournament (remember that these are beta tests and we are not safe from these inconveniences)

Why do these kinds of tournaments by ESL (whatever ESL stands for) have to be in a third-person shooter? What's the point? What's it for? Why do we need it? Why not just leave the tournaments out of GW2 in it's entirety?
These tournaments are already becoming a failure largely because of the issues with staying connected to them.

These tournaments are Beta and the prizes are symbolic. ESL is very famous for making big tournaments and giving great rewards.
It is obvious that in Beta there will be problems, that is why we have to inform them so that they improve in the next one.
One thing they should implement is that when the abandonment report is sent, the opposing team receives a notice that they have a few minutes to enter or they will be disqualified.
Maybe in the future we will have competitive GW2 tournaments with great rewards. I would like to live to see it.

My buddies' team won the final showdown.

Kudos to acure4happiness, Queso02, AsianEqualizer, Jessthebro908, and XxEternalBlazexX!!!

These guys are among the best players on PS4 by a long shot and totally deserved this win. I don't know the torchwood bros., but they can suck it.

After the tournament a lot of teams apparently disbanded so that you couldn't see their gamer tags.

Eternal blaze was on my team Baby Love.
We won all 6 games and ESL made us lose 2 when we won. We could have beaten Team1 who won. We should have gotten the chance to compete. My team was stacked. It was a 4 vs 4 tournament. You congratulated 5 players. Xxeternalblazexx was on my team. We were rolling everyone. ESL SUCKS
