"With the addition of Private Play, we’ve made the decision to remove Mixed Mode from the Multiplayer Terminal. Gnomebomb, Suburbination, and Team Vanquish Confirmed will now only appear as Weekly Events on the Multiplayer Terminal, but will be accessible for players via Private Play. This change is expected to improve overall match quality."

@jakedamon115 Doesn't seem like they intend to bring it back, However since most of the community is really upset over it's removal maybe they will bring it back in the future.

  • I have the impression that they are doing everything (or nothing) to kill the game. Removing mixed mode is ridiculous.
I have less and less fun with the game. GW2 I have never laced myself. BFN I'm starting to get away.

The problem with the decision of removing Mixed Modes is that no one asked for that to happen, and that it happened before anyone knew about it or could react to this change. EA is supposed to let customers know 30 days before an EA Service gets discontinued. Does this count? Now while the Mixed Modes will still appear as Weekly Events, that isn’t satisfying enough for those who loved Mixed Modes and would play them all of the time.

And that’s coming from a Turf Takeover player.
