Modded Controllers!!

I feel like I am running into more and more people that must be using modded controllers. I am fairly experienced with the game but keep getting smashed by peas and simple sunflowers. These players never miss as they are jumping and firing and I’m also jumping to get away.... but I keep getting obliterated...I have this experience a couple times a week. That’s why I feel like somethings going on...

    @Gormey  Nailed it.  COVID online traffic and the latest server update has REALLY exaggerated the advantage people with killer connections have over the rest of us in BfN.  Oddly enough, my son can play Fortnite wirelessly and not experience the lag he does in BfN’s PvP or what I experience in BfN with a wired PS4 Pro. 😡. It’s literally unplayable for me now to the point I cannot chomp anyone and even though my crosshairs turn red, I can’t hit anyone.  Half the time I see hp coming off an opponent, their health does not budge.

    I only turn on the game now to check the servers once a week and until they’re playable, I’m stuck with nothing. 👍

    I play controller on pc with heavy assist and my aim still sucks but as splash mentioned bunny hoppers are impossible to hit.  Had a level 35 pea today that had like 12 kills above everyone else each game that didn't miss but I feel a lot has to do with game host / ping for the god players.  I've seen god players go from inhuman speed and accuracy to normal human throughout several games so that tells me a new player got host.  I've seen gravelstoopid speak to this before but I have no confirmation around how game host works in neighborville...just theories based on my experience.

    Yeah I don't like to sound like a sore loser but sometimes I get in a game and someone has an insane number of kills, like twice a much as everyone else. This is on PS4.

    I suspected something is going on here, as it's barely possible for someone to be that much better than other really experienced players in every game.

    I wonder if there is a definite give away rather than just high kills you can look for, as some people no doubt are just expert at the game.

    @spIash_damage that really sucks. Based on how I managed to get top player a lot in europe this morning my guess is I get host a lot...for example this morning I wasn't missing a chomp and had like 22 kill streak...at lunch I couldn't chomp kill someone to save my life over half the bites missed. Whatever is happening dictates the character I can play during that session.

    @34975634954957i feel like I can tell when I one on one someone...if you square off but are looking at the ground before you even knew the fight was done then that's your god. If you die from a shot after you've already turned the corner on your screen that's your god...etc. Usually only one per game in my experience, anymore then one it's skill or lopsided teams.
