@ippig always hated TT in all gw games...I play for the joy of outplaying people in one on one or two on one battles. I'm an old gamer that was a fan of original deathmatch where it was every player for themself and first to 25 or 30 wins...duke nukem, blood, quake, unreal tournament, halo 2, etc. TT in my opinion is for people who enjoy team play or no skill players who camp for cheap kills...It would fair to say I hate TT.
@Gormey I started on all those games too (in fact, I'm playing through the single player campaigns in many of these classics right now, currently on the bonus 5th episode of Duke Nukem in the anniversary edition). But I'm also an avid tabletop war gamer so I really like objectives and ever since GW1 I've always preferred G&G and then TT with GW2.
I do hate the campers in TT though, it was usually cacti in GW1 that would snipe the entire time and get top vanquisher but would still lose as they didn't focus on the points at all. I do like working with a team to press/defend the objectives over just vanquishing though.
Edit: When I first started playing GW1 I vastly preferred mixed mode as it let me play all the modes and see all the maps as while I prefer TT, I like to mix things up and my 2nd favorite mode was Taco Bandits once it was added.
