@Stringer2048 The steam blaster doing good damage at least feels great. The problem really boils down to Scientist's poor class design. They gave him 3 instant Warps with no way to justify it until they nerfed his damage to the current mediocre Goo blaster. Even then it's not justifiable because it is super easy to escape death, even when playing aggressively.
@Pheesley I agree I also pointed out that it can be similar in sunflowers case with the 3 healing charges as she runs away
- @Stringer2048 That's fair. Sunny Side up is a lot stronger with the quick egress upgrade. She isn't nearly as bad as the other supports when trying to vanquish her and it does take some skill to stay alive as her, but I could see how the 3 charges could be annoying to fight against.
Sunflower was actually top tier in the previous patches but now she can’t no longer sustain her tanky like play style anymore. Even with three charges she’s easier to kill than the previous version of her so she’s definitely no longer top tier anymore. For scientist I complained hard about how lack luster he was in the past. In previous patches for example he had very poor reload speed anmo capacity and damage output. Those were his issues in the past for being the worst character in the game but obviously he’s not even close from the worst. Scientist regular primary has hit reg issues up close and still do but the sb doesn’t have that issue which means all dps and accuracy counts which is great. To me this is scientist, this should’ve been his main primary like there’s no issues no flaws but just a great top tier weapon overall.
I have yet to unlock it but from what I've seen it's just too good with a character that has 3 teleports and a self heal ability. I have seen videos on it and have played against it a couple of times, and while I was able to mostly avoid its effects so far, it at least appears to be extremely powerful and may well need to see some changes, if not to the blaster itself than to the teleportation ability and maybe the heal thingy as well.
