Mystery Portal Event Crashes Game / not able to connect

Managed to get in after trying about ten times, server is full. 

Will keep the status updated. 

I'm sure it's all hands on deck with your devs and qa over there.

Usually on North America East we don't see Town Hall open until 10am so I was very surprised to see it open when I jumped on the game for a short bit at 9am with Rux already in his shop as well.

Going into the Mystery Portal on PS4 puts you into "Finding the Best Match" for an unusually long time and when you do receive the "Found the Best Match" message the game immediately dumps you onto the title screen and stays there.

I initially associated it with what seems to be the unusually early launch time for the event and figured maybe some parts got "switched on" while other parts were set to launch at the normal time but I haven't been able to get back on to see if the same crash occurs now that we're past the normal launching time for the event.

Completed two games and haven't received any rainbow stars.

Played more games, won some and lost some and still no Rainbow Stars.

I didn't play the suggested variants however, will reload the game and see if it changes anything. 

Edit: Can't get back in again... ☹️
