Not saying it's the best deck ever. It's just cheap yet effective. I was just pointing out that despite how it emphasizes lower cost plants I still got on a streak where I got a terrible hand to start with and there wasn't much I could do to recover.

it seems like if you don't draw the correct early game, this deck could be really weak to the beast rush of immorticia. (them cat ladies are real), or the smash version.

But then again, playing control has as it's main challenge to beat aggro decks and survive until you dominate the late game. But I would probably try and get a bit less mid-game cards (like bluesberry or sour grapes) and add more turn 1-3 tools to apply *some* early pressure while you ramp up to your late game drops. I also feel Metal Petal Sunflower would be a great fit in this ramp deck.
