Yeah, I hear you. The green trial was the first key I got and the last trial I completed. I used peashooter, sunflower, corn, the rose, and then the imp and citron. Just couldn't do it. I went back to the imp.
One thing that I noticed, don't think about the time clock at all. Just concentrate on the course.
With the imp, take the shortcuts by jumping and floating through the balance beam (watch those youtube videos to demonstrate). When you get past the fireball, take a couple of secs and breathe and take your time jumping on those post. The last part should be easy, jump left to right past those gnomes.
I only made it past twice the obstacle course twice. First time, missed the platform (to finish) by 1 sec....... the second time, I just got on the platform by a fraction of a sec before the time ran out.
Just to show you how hard this course is in terms of time.
