It's kinda like your Jalapeño idea, but I always thought a pretty funny idea for a Chili Bean Bomb alternative would be a Molotov Cattail. Instead of an explosion it would just set an area of the ground on fire for a short time - a great crowd control ability that could effectively, ahem, "encourage" the Zombies to vacate Capture Zones. And, much like how the Sombrero Bean Bomb would say "¡Arriba!" on activation, the Molotov Cattail could have a little Russian accent and say "Da svidaniya, comrade!"

Isn't that essentially what the Jalapeno does in PvZ? I think instead of Crimson's idea, it should behave like the Scientist's Cheese Warp or All Star's Tackle and clear everything out in a straight line ahead and set them on fire for 5 seconds. That would be more in line with what it does in PvZ.
I'd also replace Crimson's infini-nut idea with an umbrella leaf to protect from overhead attacks and drone strikes. Requiring people to use a specific type of damage to remove a barrier faster, which they may not have access to due to luck of the draw... is not something I support. Remember, electric variants need to be unlocked first... and not everyone will have that unlocked.

Just got the idea for a "vampire heal beam" for the scientist that would replace his heal station with a beam that attaches to ENEMIES and leeches their health to heal him. Would be fun to get in close, latch on with a beam and drain someone of their life force right?

In all honesty, I'd much rather they just come up with a vampire zombie, than give the scientist class a vampire beam.
Also think of how OverPowering that would be to have a CQC character to fight close quarters while sucking their life force.

@This needs to be a thing! suggest it to @JA_Weibe on Twitter. If you can't I'll do it for you. And I'll give credit where it's due.
also just think of chemist with that.

No it shouldn't be a thing. Scientists are already arguably one of the most overpowered characters... allowing them to shoot you and drain your life while healing themself would basically ruin the game.
- Anonymous10 years agosounds cool but to make it fair it would take 2 health fast like the healing beam does 2 healing points quick

Apparently the deluxe edition packs have unique abilities for Super Brainz and Kernal Korn. The multi-ball and Bigger butter.
