@ef151017a62db84d Yeah. Quarterly Bonus. It has tipped the balance and ruined the game play for Plant heroes. Even as written it would be too cheap a card. But instead of setting strength to 4 it adds +4. And stacks with itself. Instant kill. And with frenzy it goes crazy. Usually with gargantuans. But all star zombie. Vimpires. Any high strength zombie. Game over. It was not rebalanced in the hasty bug fixes they dropped.
I’m still trying the game to see if there’s a workaround. But it will pretty much force you to play Solar and hope you pull a super rare Wingnut by the 4th round to prevent bonus attacks. And at only 3 strength there are tricks that can wipe that off the board in one round anyway.
They broke a good game for no reason I can tell. Except maybe to create new ‘chase’ cards that everyone had to hunt. Then frustrate players who do get them by nerfing them in the next update.
Not a great model.
