Hypno Shroom
-slow
-bright and colorful(sticks out especially in night sections
-fires his? her? fungi have something like 36000 genders so who knows; laser burst weapon
-a stream that can hurt target a maximum of 5 times per bullet
-weapon is also colorful and is easy to spot where it came from
Ability 1
Hypno Spores- zombies hit by it (summon zombies count) no longer control their character
-their character turns purple and attacks the closest zombie (summon zombies count)
-AI for brainwashed zombies is the same AI on easy garden ops
-effect wheres of over time but can where of instantly if they vanquish another zombie(summon zombies count) or if they have 20 health left
-brainwashed zombies can't get any lower than 20 health
-zombies can damage a brainwashed zombie, but not plants
Side Note- If their is a scientist on your team you can damage them to 20 health to get rid of the brainwash effect then heal the hp back to max
-or just wait it out
Ability 2
Spring Bean- place on the ground
- a spring bean can make any plant that jumps on it bounce high up
Side Note- A well placed spring bean can help make plant travel easier, as a zombie you can't have that
Ability 3
Energy pulse- all zombies around the hypno shroom get knocked away via a pulse of mystical energy
-also deals some damage
Side Note- Keep your distance and you will be fine and dodge anything that looks...

Ability substitutions is the difference between a zpg and a multi rocket.
I am covering these next.
Ability 1 substitution 1
Hypno beam- like the heal beam this has no cool down
-it actually works exactly like the heal beam but instead of healing plants you are making zombies trip out(like the ability the summonable hypnoshrooms have in GW2)
Ability 1 substitution 2
Toxic Spores- makes zombies hit by it have a spore cloud follow them around
-this makes it so they can't see
-this also does DOT
Ability 2 substitution 1
Armored Spring bean- doesn't bounce plants as high but has more hp
Ability 2 substitution 2
Area denial Spring bean- doesn't bounce plants at all
-instead knocks back zombies that get to close
Ability 3 substitution 1
Damage Pulse-No knock back just damage
-higher damage
Ability 3 substitution 2
Force Field- summons a glowing force field that can block hits
-is in the shape of a dome
-follows around your hypnoshroom but slows down your speed
Necromancer Zombie
-moderate
-fires his bone boomerang weapon
-can pierce through multiple plants on the way out as well as the way back
-only has 1 ammo
-can only fire again when his trusty boomerang returns which it always does
Ability 1
raise tombstone- throws a bone (arcs like scientist sticky explodey balls)
-wherever the bone lands a tombstone appears their
-tombstones summon zombies(usually brown coats but occasionally something interesting like a screen door zombie)
Side Note- having to contend with a swarm is annoying, best to destroy it if you see it
Ability 2
Zombie grab- Throws an identical looking bone
-when it lands plants in the area get grabbed (including a burrowed chomper) by undead hands that come out of the ground
-plants grabbed by hands cannot use their abilities
-the hands grabbing them must be destroyed before they can escape
Side Note- Shoot or chomp at the hands on your feet to break free
Ability 3
Rune- Throws an identical looking bone
-when it lands a rune is summoned
-runes rapidly deplete the ammo of all plants in its radius
Side Note- Destroy from afar or with your special abilities
Ability 1 substitution 1
Armored tombstone- a tombstone with more hp but is less likely to summon something cool like a bucket head
Ability 1 substitution 2
Horde tombstone- produces more zombies at once more frequently but is less likely to summon something cool like a backup dancer
Ability 2 substitution 1
Armored zombie grab- zombie hands have more hp
Ability 2 substitution 2
damaging zombie grab- zombie hands do damage
Ability 3 substitution 1
Armored rune- more hp at the expense of not depleting plant ammo as quickly
Ability 3 substitution 2
damaging rune- less hp but does damage as well as deplete ammo
